About Us
Our student organization, Salus, was founded in 2011, and we take care of our members’ networking, advocacy in educational policy matters, and diverse leisure activities through various events.
What We Do
Salus supports community and well-being among health sciences students, advocates for their interests, and connects students, staff, and the Student Union of Tampere University (TREY).
We organize events, trips, and seminars that promote community, well-being, and studies, while actively communicating and collaborating with the university and other partners.
All health sciences students at Tampere University are welcome to join Salus ry.

Studying Health Science
As a student in the international Master’s Programme in Public and Global Health (PGH) you are equipped with knowledge, skills, and tools to work in the complex setting of contemporary and emerging health challenges. The programme is part of the teaching offered at the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Health Sciences Unit. Hence, our interdisciplinary programme in public and global health integrates studies in both health sciences and social sciences.
